Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian born actress. She was best known in the US for her role as Felicity Smoak, portrayed by The CW series Arrow. Rickards was raised in British Columbia. In order to begin her acting career, she started performing in musical theater and dance hoping to later introducing serious acting. After graduating early from high-school and attending Vancouver Film School and completed the Acting Essentials course. Once she was done with the program, she went to an audition that was open and she got signed. Alida Vocal Studio taught her. The chemistry she shared between her and Stephen Amell, positive feedback from fans and her sarcastic remarks led to an initial signing for a single episode guest star.
