Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, a gifted actor who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father comes from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's earliest memories of attending rehearsals for play and watching her mother's working. Anna was a part of numerous commercials in her early years. Anna relocated out of Toronto in 1999 to Los Angeles in 1999. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting training held in Los Angeles, and they got engaged in the year 2009. Anna converted to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and they renewed their vows during the Jewish wedding in Fredericton.
