Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated for most outstanding Actress on TV for NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi show Revolution. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek parents. In the year she turned 4, her family moved away from Canada to Skala in Greece. It was close to Sparta. They returned after she turned nine. The proud mother of two is Greek and is able to speak Greek proficiently. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos made the move to Vancouver for acting in 2007. Within weeks she had landed her debut television role. It was a minor part in the show Supernatural. Her first television role was Majority Rules in the year 2009. After that, she worked in television. Her debut as a feature filmmaker in the year 2011, with Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and produced the low-budget horror film, Kill For Me, with Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy.
